The program, module by module

  1. Module 1 — Overview of Cloud Platforms — AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud

Compare equivalent services across providers, understand shared responsibility and billing, and choose a provider based on project context.

  2. Module 2 — Virtual Machines and Cloud Storage

Deploy compute instances, choose the right cloud storage type, and size resources to avoid overconsumption.

  3. Module 3 — Cloud Networking and High Availability

Structure a virtual network with subnets and gateways, balance load across availability zones, and design an architecture that survives an outage.

  4. Module 4 — Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Apply the principle of least privilege, create precise IAM roles and policies, and audit access to detect excessive permissions.

  5. Module 5 — Infrastructure as Code with Terraform

Understand Infrastructure as Code principles, write HCL, deploy versioned infrastructure, and manage Terraform state as a team.

  6. Module 6 — Kubernetes in the Cloud

Understand managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, GKE), deploy a containerized application, and manage autoscaling.

  7. Module 7 — Serverless Architectures

Understand serverless principles, deploy an event-triggered function, and know when to choose serverless over a VM or container.

  8. Module 8 — Cloud Cost Optimization (FinOps)

Read and understand a cloud bill, apply cost-reduction best practices, and set up budget alerts.

  9. Module 9 — Final Project and Certification

    Certification

Assemble network, compute, IAM, and Infrastructure as Code into a coherent architecture, document it, present it — then deliver the certification project.

How long will it take me?

3 h/wk ≈ 17 wks

6 h/wk ≈ 9 wks

12 h/wk ≈ 5 wks

20 h/wk ≈ 3 wks

Estimates, not deadlines. Pause for a month and pick up where you left off.

What you deliver at the end

Assemble network, compute, IAM, and Infrastructure as Code into a coherent architecture, document it, present it — then deliver the certification project.

How certification works

Three levels, from simplest to most demanding. Each one only claims what it actually verifies.

Attendance certificate

Earned by: Modules followed

Proves: You followed the track — no graded assessment.

Certificate of achievement

Earned by: Full track completed on the platform, final project included, and final exam passed

Proves: Your knowledge and your final project, evaluated by the platform.

Field Practice Validated distinction

Earned by: A field challenge completed after the exam, in a real situation, with evidence

Proves: A CoursTech mentor reviewed and validated a genuine real-world application.

The distinction is added to your certificate of achievement — it never replaces it: nothing off-platform ever blocks the certificate itself.
