Map a typical information system's attack surface, harden a Linux and Windows system, and understand essential cryptographic notions.
Module 2 — Legal and Ethical Framework for Penetration Testing
Know what separates an authorized penetration test from an illegal act, draft a test authorization, and understand responsible disclosure.
Module 3 — Introduction to Penetration Testing with Kali Linux
Get hands-on with Kali Linux and its methodology, conduct reconnaissance and enumeration, and use Nmap to scan and identify services.
Module 4 — Web Application Security (OWASP Top 10)
Overview of the 10 most common web vulnerabilities, identifying an injection and an access control flaw, and fixing them from the developer's side.
Module 5 — Network Traffic Analysis with Wireshark

Understand how an operational security team is organized (levels 1, 2, 3), the incident handling process, and a SOC's performance indicators.
Module 8 — Vulnerability Analysis
Use a vulnerability scanner and interpret its results, prioritize vulnerabilities by real criticality, and write a remediation plan.
Module 9 — Final Project and Certification
CertificationConduct a complete information system security audit, including a web assessment, with a report and prioritized recommendations, graded by a mentor.

CERTIFICATE VERIFIABLE ONLINE
What you deliver at the end
Conduct a complete information system security audit, including a web assessment, with a report and prioritized recommendations, graded by a mentor.
See a sample certificateHow certification works
Three levels, from simplest to most demanding. Each one only claims what it actually verifies.
Attendance certificate
Earned by: Modules followed
Proves: You followed the track — no graded assessment.
Certificate of achievement
Earned by: Full track completed on the platform, final project included, and final exam passed
Proves: Your knowledge and your final project, evaluated by the platform.
Field Practice Validated distinction
Earned by: A field challenge completed after the exam, in a real situation, with evidence
Proves: A CoursTech mentor reviewed and validated a genuine real-world application.
The distinction is added to your certificate of achievement — it never replaces it: nothing off-platform ever blocks the certificate itself.
