The program, module by module

  1. Module 1 — Database Fundamentals and Data Modeling

Choose between relational and NoSQL based on use case, model a normalized entity-relationship schema, and discover MongoDB.

  2. Module 2 — Advanced SQL for Data Analysis

Master complex joins, CTEs, and window functions, and know how to optimize a slow query.

  3. Module 3 — Data Warehousing and Decision-Support Architecture

Model in star and snowflake schemas, compare cloud warehouses, and choose between Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse.

  4. Module 4 — ETL and ELT Pipelines

Understand ETL and ELT approaches, extract from heterogeneous sources, and transform data with Python and SQL.

  5. Module 5 — Pipeline Orchestration with Apache Airflow

Understand DAGs, write and schedule an end-to-end pipeline, and handle failures in production.

  6. Module 6 — Data Quality and Reliability

Define quality rules, automate data tests, and handle missing or outlier values.

  7. Module 7 — Large-Scale Processing with Apache Spark

Understand Spark's distributed architecture, manipulate DataFrames with PySpark, and optimize a job.

  8. Module 8 — Hadoop Ecosystem and Distributed Storage

Understand HDFS, organize a Data Lake into bronze/silver/gold zones, and secure data access.

  9. Module 9 — Data Streaming with Kafka

Understand producers, consumers, and partitions, build a simple flow, and explore real-time use cases.

  10. Module 10 — Final Project and Certification

    Certification

Connect Power BI/Tableau to a warehouse, build a governed dashboard, and deliver a complete decision-support platform graded by a mentor.

How long will it take me?

How certification works

Three levels, from simplest to most demanding. Each one only claims what it actually verifies.

Attendance certificate

Earned by: Modules followed

Proves: You followed the track — no graded assessment.

Certificate of achievement

Earned by: Full track completed on the platform, final project included, and final exam passed

Proves: Your knowledge and your final project, evaluated by the platform.

Field Practice Validated distinction

Earned by: A field challenge completed after the exam, in a real situation, with evidence

Proves: A CoursTech mentor reviewed and validated a genuine real-world application.

The distinction is added to your certificate of achievement — it never replaces it: nothing off-platform ever blocks the certificate itself.
