The program, module by module
Module 1 — Overview of ISO 27001
Place ISO 27001 among ISO 27002 and 27005, and distinguish a management standard from organizational and individual certification.
Module 2 — Information Security Management System
Build an ISMS: define a realistic scope, write a short security policy, and run the plan-do-check-act cycle.
Module 3 — Risk assessment
Identify assets, threats and vulnerabilities, cross impact with probability in a risk matrix, then choose to reduce, avoid, transfer, or accept a risk.
Module 4 — Security policies and controls (Annex A)
Select the relevant Annex A controls based on identified risks and justify each choice in the Statement of Applicability.
Module 5 — Implementation in a typical organization
Roll out an ISMS on a limited budget in a typical organization: a realistic scope, a simple risk assessment, and high-impact, low-cost controls.
Module 6 — Internal audit and certification preparation
Conduct an independent internal audit: prepare the scope, gather evidence, distinguish major from minor nonconformities, and build a corrective action plan.
Module 7 — Incident management and continuous improvement
Respond to a security incident in five steps — detection, containment, analysis, remediation, communication — then turn it into a lasting lesson learned.
Module 8 — Mock exam and certification preparation
Practice on exam-style scenarios to spot the most common mistakes before sitting the Lead Implementer certification.
Module 9 — Professional Integration and Certification
CertificationCross-cutting module: CV/portfolio, professional brand, interview practice, and job market activation — specific to this course's real career outcomes. Triggers generation of the final certificate.

Three levels, from simplest to most demanding. Each one only claims what it actually verifies.
Attendance certificate
Earned by: Modules followed
Proves: You followed the track — no graded assessment.
Certificate of achievement
Earned by: Full track completed on the platform, final project included, and final exam passed
Proves: Your knowledge and your final project, evaluated by the platform.
Field Practice Validated distinction
Earned by: A field challenge completed after the exam, in a real situation, with evidence
Proves: A CoursTech mentor reviewed and validated a genuine real-world application.
The distinction is added to your certificate of achievement — it never replaces it: nothing off-platform ever blocks the certificate itself.
