The program, module by module

  1. Module 1 — Overview of a professional streaming infrastructure

Map the full professional streaming chain — capture, encoding, server, delivery — and the redundancy that keeps it reliable live.

  2. Module 2 — Broadcast protocols (RTMP, HLS)

Tell apart RTMP, used for low-latency ingest to the server, and HLS, used for segmented delivery adapted to each viewer's connection.

  3. Module 3 — Setting up a streaming server with Docker

Set up an SRS server in Docker, receive a test RTMP feed, and serve it as HLS through Caddy or Nginx.

  4. Module 4 — Stream key management and multi-channel setups

Structure multiple channels on one server with a distinct stream key per channel — secret on the sending side, revocable without a restart.

  5. Module 5 — Troubleshooting common issues

Diagnose a streaming failure — CORS error, poor HLS segmenting, excessive latency — by tracing the chain step by step.

  6. Module 6 — Production tools (OBS, vMix)

Choose between OBS and vMix based on budget and complexity, prepare scenes in advance, and set upload bitrate below the connection's real ceiling.

  7. Module 7 — Securing and backing up

Protect stream keys and server ports, then set up a backup plan verified with a full restore drill.

  8. Module 8 — Hands-on case: a complete broadcast chain

Assemble scoping, infrastructure, channels, production, security, and a dress rehearsal into a complete broadcast-chain deployment, from brief to live.

  9. Module 9 — Professional Integration and Certification

    Certification

Cross-cutting module: CV/portfolio, professional brand, interview practice, and job market activation — specific to this course's real career outcomes. Triggers generation of the final certificate.

How long will it take me?

6 h/wk ≈ 5 wks

12 h/wk ≈ 3 wks

20 h/wk ≈ 2 wks

Estimates, not deadlines. Pause for a month and pick up where you left off.

How certification works

Three levels, from simplest to most demanding. Each one only claims what it actually verifies.

Attendance certificate

Earned by: Modules followed

Proves: You followed the track — no graded assessment.

Certificate of achievement

Earned by: Full track completed on the platform, final project included, and final exam passed

Proves: Your knowledge and your final project, evaluated by the platform.

Field Practice Validated distinction

Earned by: A field challenge completed after the exam, in a real situation, with evidence

Proves: A CoursTech mentor reviewed and validated a genuine real-world application.

The distinction is added to your certificate of achievement — it never replaces it: nothing off-platform ever blocks the certificate itself.
